Ao Ashi is a manga by Ygo Kobayashi, who has been publishing it in Big Comic Spirits since January 2015. Shogakukan has collected the chapters into collected volumes. On April 9, 2022, Production I.G. began airing their animated TV series adaptation of the manga. Everything you need to know about the possibility of an Ao Ashi Season 2 can be found in this post.
Whether or not Ao Ashi will return for a second season is still up in the air. Given that the first season premiered so recently and that the manga is still being updated, the second season of Ao Ashi is certainly possible. Having said that, Ao Ashi is a very popular anime, and given what we know, a second season is not out of the question. Only the exact timing is unknown.
If there is going to be a second season of Ao Ashi, you’ll find out everything we know and everything we don’t know about it here. You will learn when this highly anticipated new anime series may premiere if a trailer exists, what the show may be about, and much more.
Does Blue Lock Refer to Ao Ashi as Well?
Sports anime fans have found a lot to like in this anime, despite the fact that it hasn’t received as much attention as other series. This is because it offers fascinating characters and vibrant animation, as well as a fairly accurate portrayal of the sport, which will delight fans.
Even while Ao Ashi and Blue Lock are both soccer anime, they take quite different approaches to the sport, and as a result, their respective atmospheres are quite different.
Although the author of Ao Ashi clearly cares about presenting a genuine representation of the sport and how it runs and the series incorporates traditional coming-of-age and teamwork clichés, the series has been praised for its original and realistic approach to soccer.
Alternatively, Blue Lock is predicted to be more successful than the other since it focuses more on action and mystery and the storyline also focuses on individuals rather than teams.
In 2021, the shounen comic Blue Lock won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award, while in 2020, the Shogakukan manga Ao Ashi and the shojo manga Kaguya-sama: Love is War shared the 65th Shogakukan Manga Award. Moreover, sales of the manga for both series are strong, with Blue Lock possibly outselling it. Ao Ashi Season 2 may, however, alter the present landscape of the contest altogether.
Release Date: Aoshi Season 2
according to amazfeed the show’s immense popularity, the second season of Ao Ashi is certainly possible; however, the exact release date remains unknown. Even though the first season of Ao Ashi has concluded, the manga is still ongoing, thus there is a good potential that we may see a second season soon.
An anime television series adaptation has been confirmed for Spring 2028, and the manga has been serialized in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Spirits magazine since January 5, 2015. The magazine has also serialized Ao Ashi Brother Foot, a spin-off series by the same author. As far as we can tell, this is all leading up to the premiere of Season 2 of Ao Ashi.
You may expect high quality from the anime because it was animated by Production I.G studio and directed by Akira Sato with a script written by Masahiro Yokotani.
Manabu Nakatake, Toshie Kawamura, Asuka Yamaguchi, and Saki Hasegawa worked on character design; Masaru Yokoyama created the series’ musical score, and Crunchyroll has the sole rights to broadcast the show outside of Asia. As you can see, Ao Ashi’s fate is still up in the air, however, the show’s great reviews and high viewership indicate a strong likelihood of renewal for Ao Ashi Season 2.

Ao Ashi Season 2 Trailer
Superfly’s Presence is the name of the opening theme music. Meanwhile, a Japanese rock band called Kami wa Saikoro wo Furanai will perform a song called Color Lily no Koibumi as the credits roll.
In Ao Ashi, our protagonist, Aoi Ashito, is a young soccer player with big goals. Aoi has a remarkable skill in soccer that he doesn’t show off too much. Fukuda Tetsuya, manager of the Asperian J1 Tokyo City Junior Team, has finally taken notice of this player’s abilities. The management persuaded Aoi to join the J-League Youth after realizing his outstanding potential.
The unfortunate flip side to Aoi’s exceptional talent is his tendency to be open and honest about his opinions and critiques of others.
Launched in 2015 by the monthly magazine Big Comic Spirits, the Ao Ashi manga is the work of author Yugo Kobayashi. There were 22 volumes of Ao Ashi out there by the year 2022.
An intriguing fact is that the manga, which will follow the exceptional player Aashito Aoi, has already received the prestigious 2020 Shogakukan Manga Award in the general manga category.
To What Can We Look Forward From the Sequel to the Anime?
The final episode of the first season of Ao Ashi is planned to coincide with the end of volume 11 (chapter 115). Given that this is where the contest between Tokyo Musashino and Esperion B would continue, this is the ideal place to stop. Ashito’s promotion to Team A is a big plot point and the perfect way to wrap up the season.
The good thing is there is a lot of material to work with for Ao Ashi Season 2. The first season only adapted around a third of the chapters available in 2022.
The Tokyo Metropolitan League has started a brand new era. Ashito was having self-doubts and Tachibana was losing confidence as they prepared to face an unbeaten opponent. But now Ashito scores on him and establishes himself as a pivotal player, knocking him out of the game. in addition, he was elevated to the position of HAS. With that in mind, Season 2 of Ao Ashi will likely feature more of his exploits.
