Penn Badgley is back as the stalker and killer Joe Goldberg, and Victoria Pedretti, who played his girlfriend Love Quinn in season 2, is also back.

The show is based on the books by Caroline Kepnes called You and Hidden Bodies. You season 3 could also get some ideas for stories from her third book, You Love Me, which came out in April.

You started out on Lifetime, but it really took off when it moved to stream. It’s now one of the best and most popular shows on Netflix.

In Season 1, we met Joe, a New York City bookstore manager who becomes obsessed with writer Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail). He started looking for her and started killing people who were in the way of their relationship.

You Season 3 Storyline

The plot of You Seasons 3 is being kept secret, except for what we can figure out from the new characters. But we should also see the results of what happened at the end of season 2.

For one thing, Love may or may not be pregnant. And if she is, is Joe really the father of the baby? At the end of season 2, we also learned that Love is not a reliable person.

She killed both Delilah (Carmela Zumbado) and Candace (Ambyr Childers). She also told Joe that she played him at his own game—that he was the one being manipulated in their relationship, not her.

If you remember, there were quite a few dead bodies at the end of season 2. Love’s brother Forty (James Scully) also died in the season finale, and Henderson (Chris D’Elia) was killed by accident earlier in the season.

Love was able to blame Forty for the deaths of Candace and Henderson, and Delilah’s murder was set up to look like a suicide.

But who’s to say that Joe and Love won’t still see these ghosts when they live in the suburbs? In season 3, there are also a lot of new characters who could cause trouble for the murdering duo.

Sera Gamble, who is in charge of the show, said on Twitter that “the episodes are fucking bonkers and the performances are insanely good.” This doesn’t give away any specifics, but it’s a good sign that there will be a lot more drama in the new episodes.

You Season 3 Release Date

According to tomsguide.com/ Netflix has set October 15, 2021, as the date for the third season of “You.” On January 14, 2020, Netflix renewed the show and said that season 3 would start in 2021. Most film and TV productions had to stop because of the coronavirus pandemic, so You season 3 had to be put off.

Season 3 started filming in November 2020, but it had to stop because of a COVID-19 surge. The filming started up again in February 2021 and ended in April.
