Turning Red Cast: What Nationality is Turning Red Characters?

Turning Red is an animated movie about a 13-year-old girl named Mei Lee. It is fun and full of colors. She seems like a normal, self-assured teenager, but when she gets excited or stressed, she changes into a giant red panda.

Domee Shi is in charge of Turning Red. She won an Oscar for her Pixar short film Bao. She has put together a cast of big names for the movie. We can’t wait to see what happens in this movie, and (hopefully!) we won’t end up like Mei Lee and turn into a big red panda.
