Truth Be Told is an American drama streaming television series created for Apple TV+ based on Kathleen Barber’s novel Are You Sleeping.

Nichelle Tramble Spellman created the series, and she will also executive produce and write for it. The series premiered on December 6, 2019.

The series was renewed for a third season in December 2021, with the premiere date set for January 20, 2023.

On the same day, Lakeshore Records released the soundtrack, composed by John Paesano.

Episodes of the show were also shown at New York’s Paley Center.

Truth Be Told Season 3 Plot

The mystery anthology series will return for a third season on Apple TV +.

The series, based on Kathleen Barber’s novel of the same name, stars Octavia Spencer as podcast host Poppy Scoville, who risks everything, including her life, in search of truth and justice.

Truth Be Told Season 3 Release Date

The upcoming season will premiere around October 21, 2022, despite Apple TV+ failing to provide an official release date. With this pattern, we can anticipate the third season premiering in parts in late 2022 or early 2023.

Apple TV will be officially renewed on December 7, 2021. We can also expect an increase in episode count and speculation that showrunner Maisha Closson will reveal an official release date.
