The Forger family, who are the main characters in the anime series SPY x FAMILY, are weird in every way, but that made us love them even more.
SPY x FAMILY is an elegant and hilarious action-comedy series about a smooth superspy who must put together a fake family to get close to a target.
He doesn’t realize that the fake wife and daughter he’s recruited are an assassin and a telepath. If that doesn’t interest you, we don’t know what will.
The screwball style has already made the show one of 2022’s breakout anime hits, but when the first half of season one ended at the end of June, we all wanted more. Lucky for fans, there won’t be long to wait for more SPY x FAMILY episodes.
The Plot of Spy X Family Part 2 is: What Will Happen?
As we’ve talked about, the first half of season one of SPY x FAMILY covered three volumes and seventeen chapters of the manga, so we would expect the second half to do the same. That means there are lots of details out there if you can’t wait to find out what happens next.
In volumes, four through six of the manga, Anya, Loid, and Yor get into all kinds of trouble, without giving away too much.
In the second part of SPY x FAMILY, we and the Forgers will meet their new family member, Bond, the big white dog with mysterious powers that we met at the end of the first part.
Anya will also have to take more hard tests at her prestigious school, and we’ll meet a new WISE agent who has feelings for Loid that go beyond the job.
The Cast of Spy X Family Season 2
The voice actors for SPY x FAMILY season 2 will be the same experienced Japanese and English actors who did the voices for season 1.
Loid Forger’s voice will be done by Takuya Eguchi (in Japanese) or Alex Organ (in English). Anya Foger will be voiced by Atsumi Tamezaki (Japanese) and Megan Shipman (English). Yor Foger will be voiced by Saori Hayami (who speaks Japanese) and Natalie Van Sistine (who speaks English).
Emile Elman will be played by Hana Sato (who is Japanese) and Macy Anne Johnson (who is English). Yuri Briar will be played by Kenshô Ono (Japanese) and Dallas Reid (English). Sylvia Sherwood is voiced by Yuko Kaida (Japanese) and Stephanie Young (English).
In July 2022, the actress Megan Shipman, who plays Anya, was seen at AnimeExpo. When asked about her character in the series, she said, “I think what people find so cute about her is that she is actually a child.
She isn’t a person who is 10,000 years old but has a body of a 5-year-old. She really is a kid. And she writes so well for being so young.”
For the second season, the producers are Tetsuya Nakatake (who made the Attack on Titan series and the Bubble movie) and Yuuichi Fukushima (who made The Promised Neverland).
The second season’s executive producer is Jouji Wada, who worked on Attack on Titan, Ranking of Kings, and Vinland Saga.
Where to Watch Season 2 of Spy X Family
Release information and streaming locations for Spy x Family Season 2 It are quite likely that Spy x Family Part 2 will air on Crunchyroll and other networks that are comparable to Part 1, even if it hasn’t been formally stated where you can watch it.
Spy x Family’s season 2 will technically be the continuation of season 1, as was previously mentioned. It’s therefore likely that all of the present broadcasting partners will continue.
Currently, Crunchyroll is offering Spy x Family Part 1. Alongside Muse Communication’s networks, Netflix is also streaming Spy x Family in some Asian countries.
On TV Tokyo and other related stations, Spy x Family Part 1 had its Japanese television debut.
Is There Going to Be a Spy X Family Anime Season 2 Trailer?
When Will Spy X Family Part 2 Come Out? When Will It Be on?
Part two of season one of SPY x FAMILY will air in October 2022. After the last episode of part one aired at the end of June, Crunchyroll gave a hint about the fall release date.
The second part of SPY x FAMILY will have 13 episodes, for a total of 25. Depending on when the show starts, the part two finale would be at the end of December after 13 weeks of episodes.
Keep in mind that the original manga is still being written, and that SPY x FAMILY part one only covered three of the nine volumes that are already out (17 individual chapters for those keeping count).
If the second half has the same amount of story, there’s no reason to think that the Forgers will have to say goodbye for good at the end of part two. There will still be plenty of stories to tell.
