Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese anime TV show based on a manga series by Koyoharu Gotouge with the same name.
The anime TV series adaptation by Ufotable was announced in Weekly Shnen Jump on June 4, 2018. From April 6 to September 28, 2019, the show will be shown on Tokyo MX, GTV, GYT, and BS11.
Haruo Sotozaki runs the show, and Akira Matsushima makes the characters. The programme was made by Hikaru Kondo, and many Ufotable employees wrote it.
The show’s music was written by Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina. No date has been set for the official release of season 3 of Demon Slayer. Production, on the other hand, will start on February 13, 2022.
What is the Story of ‘demon Slayer’ Season 3?
The story of “Demon Slayer” is about a young boy named Tanjirou Kamado, who has to take care of his family after his father dies.
He goes to the village one day to sell charcoals and make a little money. But when he got home, he found that his whole family had been killed. Nezuko, his little sister, is the only one who got away. She was turned into a bloodthirsty demon.
Tanjirou decides to get his own back, so he joins the Demon Slayer Corps and works hard to find a cure for his sister.
Season 2 of “Demon Slayer” is a re-make of Mugen Train and then the next story arc from the Entertainment District (Chapters 53 through 99).
As we already thought, season 3 will start putting the Swordsmith Village Arc into action. Hantengu, an Upper Rank Four demon, will be fought by Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Genya Shinazugawa, and Mitsuri Kanroji in this arc.
The anime will keep showing Tanjirou’s fights with demons and his efforts to help his sister Nezuko get back to being human.
Who is Cast in Season 3 of “Demon Slayer”?
In the previous two seasons, there were no changes to the core voice cast of “Demon Slayer.” Therefore, if the show is renewed for a third season, its primary cast will probably return to their roles.
- Natsuki as Kamado, Tanjirou, and Hanae
- As Zenitsu, Agatsuma, and Shimono
- Kamado, Nezuko as Kitou, Akari
- Hashibira, Inosuke is played by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka.
- Kochou, Shinobu as Hayami, Saori
- Satoshi Hino portraying Rengoku Kyoujurou
The Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and the Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanoji are two additional characters that are anticipated to join the cast.
More Hashiras as well as individuals from the Twelve Upper Moons/Twelve Kibuki are likely to appear. One Upper Moon, Doma, has been teased in a recent official sketch and will make an appearance as a villain in the upcoming season.
What is the Swordsmith Village Arc in the Third Season of “Demon Slayer”?
Officially, the Swordsmith Village Arc is the third season of Demon Slayer. We won’t discuss the source material here, but be assured that it will likely span chapters 100 to 127 of the manga.
Given that the Entertainment District Arc covered a comparable age range of 70 to 99, this season will probably consist of 12 episodes, give or take a few.
It should involve Tanjiro going to Swordsmith Village to obtain a new sword, barring any significant changes. As luck would have it, there is an old weapon in the village.
It’s not all that simple, though, because the story also involves the Love and Mist Hashiras and perhaps one or two Upper Rank demons.
In a broader sense, the Entertainment District finale also hinted at the likely direction the series will follow after Demon Slayer season 3.
Tengen isn’t on the board anymore, yet he’s still very much alive. He informed Iguro that Tanjiro should most likely take over for Hashira. The Demon Slayers can then finally retaliate against Muzan Kibutsuji, their ultimate goal.
How Many Episodes Will Season 3 of Demon Slayer Include?
Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc is the name of the third season of the show. As the name suggests, this season will cover the manga series’ Swordsmith Village Arc, which runs from the 98th chapter to the 127th. So, it seems likely that this story will be told in 12 episodes of the anime version of Demon Slayer season 3.
Demon Slayer also released a short trailer for the upcoming season. The teaser is 2 minutes and 48 seconds long, and most of it shows a recap of the adventures we’ve been on with Tanjiro.
Is the Third Season of Demon Slayer Official?
Officially, there will be a third season of Demon Slayer. Fans of Demon Slayer can’t get enough of the show with just two seasons and one movie.
The news that there will be a third season of Demon Slayer just came out recently. In the next part of the anime, there will be a lot of new characters.
Shortly after that, the Demon Slayer: Entertainment District story arc reaches its climax. The third season of the anime series Demon Slayer is coming, according to the official site for the show.
With this news, Demon Slayer showed off two pictures of two Hashiras who will be with Tanjiro and his friends in the new season.
Mist Hashira and Love Hashira will be the two Hashiras that get the most attention in season 3. At the end of the first season, we saw these Hashiras, and when they heard that Rengoku, the Fire Hashira, had died, they were sad.
When Does Season 3 of “Demon Slayer” Come Out?
Even though we’d love to know for sure when Demon Slayer: Season 3 will come out, we can only guess. Ufotable hasn’t said anything about “when,” which is a shame.
But if you look back at the studio’s work, you can see that it is always the same. Most of the time, they only put out new content at certain times. So, we can figure out when the next Demon Slayer anime chapters will come out.
Ufotable usually does its work once a year. Between Season 1 and the Mugen Train movie, there was about a year, and between the movie and the first arc of Season 2, there was another year.
So, it’s likely that the second and third seasons will be a year apart. People should think that Season 3 of “Demon Slayer” will come out in 2023.
Most people think of the middle or end of 2023, but optimists look forward to a January-April window next year.
