The Season 3 of “Only Murders in the Building” Will Include Paul Rudd!

The American mystery-comedy TV show Only Murders in the Building was made by Steve Martin and John Hoffman. In August 2021, Hulu showed the first ten episodes of the first season.

In the story, Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez play three strangers who are all interested in a true crime podcast.

In the first season, three neighbors start their own podcast about their investigation after suspicious death in their wealthy Upper West Side apartment building.

In the second season, which started in June 2022, the three of them become suspects in the murder of another person who lives in the building.

The show was picked up for a third season in July 2022. The show has gotten a lot of praise, including nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Martin and Short.

Storyline

The story is about three strangers (Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez) who all love true crime stories and find themselves in the middle of one.

When someone dies in a horrible way in their fancy Upper West Side apartment building, the three suspects murder and use their knowledge of real crimes to find out what happened.

As they record their own podcast about the case, the three of them start to figure out the building’s long-held secrets.

Who Will Be Cast in the Third Season of Only Murders in the Building?

Even though Hulu hasn’t said for sure, we think the main cast will be back for more mysteries and chaos. In other words, Steve Martin (Charles), Martin Short (Oliver), and Selena Gomez (Mabel), our favorite trio, will be back.

In the video announcing season 3 of Only Murders in the Building, Selena Gomez teases, “All of your favorite characters will be back for season 3.”

In other words, we think that characters like Da’Vine Joy Randolph (Detective Williams) and Tina Fey (Cinda Canning) will be back for more trouble.

The most important news is that Paul Rudd has now been confirmed to play the main character, actor Ben Glenroy, in season 3. Ben’s death will be the main focus of the new season.

Also, the show’s creator, John Hoffman, told Variety that he would love to have Harry Styles join the cast. He said: “Harry Styles should go to the Arconia and check out the apartments. How come?”

How Many Episodes Are There in the Third Season of Only Murders in the Building?

This hasn’t been solved yet, but both the first and second seasons have 10 episodes that keep you on the edge of your seat.

When you’re trying to figure out when season 3 will come out, keep in mind that season 1 came out in August 2021 and season 2 came out on June 28 and will end on August 23. If our ideas are right, the exciting comedy will be back with a third season in the summer of 2019.
