Red Notice 2 will happen. But the movie is getting not just one follow-up, but two. Red Notice had the biggest opening weekend for a Netflix movie ever, so more movies don’t come as a surprise.

So it’s good that the twisty ending of Red Notice sets up a possible sequel in which Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot will pull off a bigger heist. Before the movie came out, Johnson, who also produced it through his company Seven Bucks Productions, was already talking about a sequel.

“I wish I could do more… We will find out what the audience thinks. “I can tell you that based on how people have responded so far and what we’ve learned from the audiences, there’s a good chance that this will come back,” he told SiriusXM.

Red Notice 2 Plot

At the end of Red Notice, there was a great plot twist that showed Hartley (Johnson) had been working with The Bishop the whole time to get the three eggs. This is probably where the next book will pick up the story.

Up until this point, viewers and Booth (Reynolds) thought that The Bishop was Gal Gadot. When, in reality, it was a double role and they are a couple!

With this information, they made it easy for Interpol, which had been following them the whole time, to catch Booth. A few months later, Booth shows up while Hartley and The Bishop are relaxing on a yacht in the middle of the ocean.

To get out of Interpol’s custody, he told them about the pair’s secret bank account and had all of their money taken. Leaving them… open to a new “three-thief job.” Hooray! We get a hint of what might happen in Red Notice 2 when the scene cuts to Paris and we see the three people planning their next move outside the Louvre.

So, we’re officially set up for a sequel, with a bigger and better heist planned for the three of them that will make big news headlines, just the way Booth likes it.

Who Will be in the Red Notice 2 Cast?

Without Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne Johnson, and Gal Gadot, Red Notice wouldn’t be what it is. So, we fully expect the three to be back in Red Notice 2 for another big heist. As was already said, Red Notice 2 will have to happen when the stars are in the right place.

We also wonder if Ritu Arya and Chris Diamantopoulos, who played supporting roles in Red Notice, will be back for the second movie.

No one died in Red Notice, so none of the names we’ve mentioned should be ruled out. But, as with any sequel, we’re sure that Red Notice 2 will attract some big names, especially considering how well the first game did.

Here is where things get really hard. Deadline says that Red Notice 2 will happen, but there are many problems, such as the fact that they are going to start filming both sequels at the same time in 2023.

If filming starts early in 2023, Red Notice 2 will probably come out on Netflix around the holidays, in November or December of 2023 according to netflixlife.com/.

If filming starts later this year or goes into 2024, it’s likely that Red Notice 2 won’t be on Netflix until 2024. So, not soon.

Red Notice Ending

After Booth, Hartley, and The Bishop get Cleopatra’s egg from the secret Nazi stash in Argentina, it turns out that Hartley and The Bishop, aka Sarah, are actually dating!

They worked with Booth the whole time to find the third egg, which they stole from him and sold to the Egyptian billionaire for $300 million.

Booth gets in touch with Interpol and tells them where The Bishop’s secret bank account is. Interpol steps in and takes all the cash.

Booth then joins his two best friends on their boat and tells them he has a new mission for them, but they will have to work together to complete it. Booth, Hartley, and Sarah are walking toward the Louvre in the last scene. Theft of art is coming!
