Magpie Murders Cast: Is It Based on True Story?
With all their twists and turns, murder mysteries have to be the most exciting type of book. When you think you know the story pretty well, you are shown that there is more to what you already know.
The most popular book by Anthony Horowitz is a murder mystery set in the present day. It was turned into a TV show not too long ago, and it has been doing incredibly well.
The book tells the story of a book editor who gets a book without its last chapter. This puts her in a tough spot. She meets one of the detectives and together they solve big mysteries that have kept the English villagers up at night.
The first series came out a little early and did so well that IMDB gave it a score of 7.3. Here is all the information you need about the second season.

In July, Masterpiece PBS showed the first clip from the new version, with Lesley Manville in the lead role of Susan. In the video, Susan is upset to find out that the last chapter of the juicy manuscript she’s been reading is missing.
