After her parents divorced, she moved to Barrington, Illinois, a Chicago suburb, with her mother.
Her mother sent her to live with her father in Laguna Beach, California, where she graduated from Laguna Beach High School after she got into trouble as a young teen.
Personal Life
Cavallari married Jay Cutler, the quarterback of the Chicago Bears at the time, on June 8, 2013, in Nashville, Tennessee. They have three children, two sons, and a daughter.
Cutler appeared alongside Cavallari on her reality show “Very Cavallari,” which aired from 2018 to 2020.
Kristin’s brother, Michael Cavallari, was discovered dead in December 2015 and was determined to have died of hypothermia as a result of a car accident.
Jay and Kristin announced their divorce in April 2020, after being together for a decade.

They paid $5.3 million in 2012 for a 20,00 square-foot mansion on 8.6 acres in Nashville, Tennessee. They initially listed this home for $7.9 million in June 2019. They reduced the price from $5.75 million to $4.95 million in May 2020.
In 2018, they paid $4.3 million for a 35-acre property in Franklin, Tennessee, about 40 minutes outside of Nashville, that includes a 10,000-square-foot mansion with eight bedrooms and eight baths in the upscale neighborhood of Leiper’s Fork.
