The Man From Toronto Review
Due to a mix-up, a clumsy businessman is forced to work with a legendary killer known as “The Man from Toronto.”
The plot revolves around a group of people who find themselves in an impossible situation. Teddy is a sales klutz who can’t wait to check into the Airbnb he reserved. Why? That is something the film will have to reveal. He has no idea how drastically, and not necessarily for the better, his life is about to alter when he finally arrives there.
In an unexpected turn of events, Teddy goes from hoping to spend some time in a vacation rental to being taken into FBI custody, to working with an international assassin and learning the trade from the man himself. Teddy did not expect this result.
In contrast, Randy has made a career out of murder. A random salesman takes his place, sabotaging his new mission. His employers are unhappy as a result. To avoid certain doom, he must now coerce Teddy into coming along. This encounter between these two very peculiar individuals is frantic and hilarious; who knows, they may even become fast friends.

Watch the Trailer for the Man From Toronto!
The Man from Toronto’s trailer, which clocks in at 2.5 minutes, gives a good idea of the film’s tone and style. Harrelson stars as the psychotic killer Randy, also known as “The Man from Toronto,” in this insane and thrilling murder mystery.
Teddy, Hart’s fictional character, appears to have been mistaken for a deadly assassin from Toronto as he checks into an Airbnb. He quickly becomes aware of the difficulty of his situation (of course unknowingly). When the genuine Guy from Toronto finally shows up, a chain of terrible but humorous events ensues. When it comes to saving themselves, the two opposites will have to work together.
The two main characters engage in numerous automobile chases, exchange numerous gunshots, and engage in numerous witty back-and-forths. Also, there is a humorous bromance subplot. Teddy’s mild crush on Randy is hilarious and endearing. The rest of the story would go in a predictable direction. If you want a taste of what it’s like, check out the trailer.
