The protagonists are ambushed by a band of Orcs as they navigate the Anduin river’s rapids in the last scene of The Fellowship of the Ring.
“We planned all sorts of activities, including boats rolling over… Jackson explained, “The elf would be positioned with a foot on each of the gunwales, firing arrows at the assailants, keeping the boat afloat as it bucks and tosses.

Review For “The Lord of the Rings”
When all is said and done, “Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring” reads more like a sword-and-sorcery epic than a fulfillment of J.R. R. Tolkien’s original intent. The movie Fellowship follows Gladiator and The Matrix, and it naturally transitions into the action movie subgenre.
The naivety that characterizes a bygone, kinder era is captured in film. The movie’s most thrilling action scene may have its roots in the chapter “The Bridge of Khazad-Dum.”
In my opinion, they are cheery, vivacious, conversational little beings that reside in cute cottages or burrows and dress like the merry men of Robin Hood — obviously in smaller sizes.
With cutting-edge special effects and audible shaking of the theatre, this scene is thrilling. Leaving places, going places, staying places, and moving on to new places are the main themes of the trilogy.
It is not about a narrative arc like The Tale of Genji, but rather a protracted sequence of episodes where the core characteristics of the characters are shown. The ring, which gives the journey its meaning, serves Tolkien as the perfect MacGuffin, inspiring a grand quest while largely remaining on a chain around Frodo Baggins’ neck.
Aragorn, the warrior once known as Strider, is portrayed by Viggo Mortensen. I predict that many Tolkien lovers will embrace it, and it will have cult-like characteristics.
A sword-and-sorcery epic in the modern genre with many of the same characters and events is “The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring.” Some viewers might be disappointed that the Hobbits have been sidelined and turned into supporting players. Much more so than Tolkien, the movie is heavily dependent on action scenes.

What Makes Lord of the Ring So Well-liked?
Although readers and watchers may be slightly reminded of real-life issues by the epic fight between Frodo and the Fellowship and Sauron, it won’t distract them from the story. The plot primarily provides readers with a means of escape from whatever is going on in their own lives. And that is the primary factor in the tale’s appeal.
