What is the Plot of Behind Her Eyes?
At the beginning of the show, single mom Louise and David, who end up becoming her new boss, share a drunk kiss. When David and Louise start having an affair, things get even more complicated because Louise becomes friends with Adele, David’s wife.
At the end of the season, Louise finds out that “Adele” is really Rob, who can put his mind in Adele’s body. Louise learns this skill on her own in the end. Which changes the whole course of the story in the end.
When Louise realizes this, Rob shifts his awareness to her body, and Louise shifts hers to Adele’s. Rob, who is in Louise’s body, kills Louise, who is in Adele’s body. Rob then takes over Louise’s life, getting her married to David and raising Adam.

Even though David is confused about Louise being Rob, Adam starts to realize that something is wrong with his mom as the story goes on.

What We Can Expect From the Second Season of Behind Her Eyes
The book Behind Her Eyes is based on has reached the end of its story. Because of this, it’s hard to say what, if anything, will happen in Season 2.
But people still think there might be a second season because it is one of the most popular psychological thrillers and the last episode ended with a cliffhanger.
If that happens, Season 2 might be about Louise trying to hide the fact that she is really Rob, even if it means killing her son. This is based on the ominous look she gives Adam in the last shot of the season.
Given that Adam and Louise’s relationship was the main emotional compass of the first season, going down this path would be dark and sad.
In the first season, there were hints about Louise’s relationship with her ex-husband. Perhaps in the second season, he would figure out Rob-Louise and try to protect his son and get back at his ex-wife.
Is Season 2 of Behind Her Eyes Officially Cancelled or Announced?

When Will the Second Season of Behind Her Eyes Come Out?
As of February 2022, there are no plans for Behind Her Eyes to have a second season.
This shouldn’t be a huge surprise, since Netflix always planned for the season to be a limited series, but still… Netflix, come on, there must be more to the story!
Netflix has never gone back on what it said it would do for a limited series. Usually, if it’s supposed to be a one-time thing, it won’t happen again.
