Good Omens Season 2 Release Date: When is the Premiere?

Good news, naughty demons: production on Good Omens’ second season has begun, so Michael Sheen’s Aziraphale and David Tennant’s Crowley have been busy.

Neil Gaiman previously said he and Terry Pratchett “always agreed” to work on Good Omens “together or not at all.”

Gaiman told us that the first season borrowed largely from 668: The Neighbour of the Beast.

“Growing into heaven and hell,” he said. Gabriel (Jon Hamm) and the other angels, as well as numerous demons, are based on ideas Terry Pratchett and I considered for a sequel. “I’ve depleted that resource,” she said.

Release Date of Good Omens Season 2: When is the Premiere?

Production on the film began in Scotland in November 2021 and ended at the beginning of March 2022. Michael Sheen tweeted the news along with a photo of Aziraphale’s signature cream coat slung over the back of a door.

On the same day, David’s wife Georgia Tennant posted a photo on Instagram showing him with brown hair instead of Crowley’s distinctive bright red hair and the caption “exorcised.”As expected, Neil Gaiman is back on board as executive producer and co-showrunner, and Douglas Mackinnon is back in the director’s chair.

What Actors Will Be Appearing in Good Omens Season 2?

Tennant and Sheen will play Crowley and Aziraphale again.

Tennant and Sheen will return for Season 2, along with some new arrivals who will wreck Earth, Heaven, and Hell.

Derek Jacobi, who played Metatron in Gladiator, will return in this role. Mark Gatiss from Sherlock will play Harmony, Steve Pemberton from Killing Eve will play Glozier, and Reece Shearsmith will play Shakespeare.

Good Omens Season 2 stars Miranda Richardson, Jon Hamm, Maggie Service, Nina Sosanya, Doon Mackichan, Gloria Obianyo, Liz Carr, Quelin Sepulveda, and Shelley Conn.

Good Omens will feature unexpected new actors. Tim Downie, Pete Firman, Andi Osho, and Alex Norton (Pirates of the Caribbean) will perform.
