Demon Slayer Season 2 Release Date: How Many Episodes Will Be in Demon Slayer Season 2
The Demon Slayer is based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge with the same name. The first season of this anime series, which has 26 episodes, came out in 2019.
The story is about a young man named Kamado Tanjiro. His family was killed by demons, and the demon king turned his sister into a demon. He goes on a journey to find a cure for his sick sister. Along the way, he meets new people and learns how to fight demons.
What is the Demon Slayer Season 2 Plot?
In case you skipped to this part to avoid spoilers, I’ll say it again: you need to watch Mugen Train. It’s not a flashback or a separate story; it’s an important part of the story. After the events of Mugen Train, the second season of Demon Slayer will pick up in the Entertainment District Arc.
In this arc, our main characters will go to Yoshiwara to try to find the demon that has been making trouble there. Along with Tanjiro and Nezuko, we’ll see more of the Sound Hashira Uzui Tengen as they fight the enemies in the area. One demon is at the center of all the trouble in this area.
In the manga, Nezuko’s transformation into a demon and Tanjiro’s growth as a demon slayer are both very interesting.

Mizuko is still a powerful person, but Tanjiro is still very much a young demon slayer. Basically, season two of Demon Slayer should be a lot of fun and will definitely have the same action and heartbreak that made season one a hit.
The Cast of Demon Slayer
After a season, sometimes the people who voice the characters change. The second season of Demon Slayer didn’t have these problems, though, because the same cast came back. The following voice actors play the same characters again:
- Tanjiro- Natsuki Hanae/Zach Aguilar
- Nezuko- Akari Kitô/Abby Trott
- Zenitsu Agatsuma- Hiro Shimono/Aleks Le
- Inosuke Hashibira- Yoshitsugu Matsuoka/Bryce Papenbrook
- Tengen Uzui- Katsuyuki Konishi / Ray Chase
- Daki- Miyuki Sawashiro
- Muzan Kibutsuji- Toshihiko Seki / Greg Chun

How Many Episodes Will Be in Demon Slayer Season 2?
Even though we’re expecting another twenty-six episodes, it would be strange for the Entertainment Arc to last that long since the first season had that many episodes.
The story arcs in the first season go up to the 53rd issue of the manga, which is about two issues per episode on average.
Mugen Train is longer, but it combines issues 54–69 into a single feature-length film. That’s a lot of action in a short amount of time, but if you’ve seen the movie, you know they did a good job of it. If you haven’t seen the movie yet, go watch it!

Now, the Entertainment Arc is made up of issues 70–99, which is a total of thirty issues. That means that it’s almost like one issue per episode, which is unusual for an anime but could be an interesting way to do things. We expect this arc to move slower than the first season, but a lot happens, so no one should be bored.
