The first volume of the manga was released on September 4, 2009, and the final volume was released on September 3, 2016. The manga was quickly taken up for an anime television adaptation, and on July 8, 2013, the first season of “Blood Lad” debuted.

Staz is a vampire who doesn’t drink human blood. She’s a typical Japanese teen. When Fuyumi encounters Staz in the demonic realm, it attacks Staz’s homeland. A carnivorous plant kills Fuyumi, who becomes a ghost.

Staz decides to resuscitate Fuyumi. Without the book of resurrection, he can’t resuscitate Fuyumi. When he learns that Braz will get the book, he feels relieved.

“Hydra Bell,” a treasure hunter they meet, may know where the key is. Braz will translate the text if Staz stops Papradon Akim’s activities. Paragon Akim eats human blood to grow stronger.

Staz defeated Akim and rescued Fuyumi. Neyn said Bell and Fuyumi’s moms merged. Staz cares for Fuyumi.

Staz and Wold want the throne back, so they ask White Step for help. Braz tried to topple the demon world’s monarch. He escaped.

Treasure hunter Hydrabell. She can teleport. Through a black barrier, she can travel between human and demonic realms. She’s Fuyumi’s sister. She aims to make the magic thief who stole her ability to lift the Black Curtain her lover-boy after she frees Fuyumi from the underworld. Akim discovers he’s guilty later.

Will There Be a Season 2 of Blood Lad?

Blood Lad’s future is cloudy for obvious reasons, but not for lack of enthusiasm or inspiration. The series has a lot of fans, but it is difficult to anticipate whether or not there will be a second season without knowing how much demand there is for it. The manga was successful, and the first season of the anime was well-received by critics, but its continuation has been in limbo for quite some time.
