Blade Release Date

Kevin Feige made the official announcement at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 alongside star Mahershala Ali.

Filming is expected to begin in October 2022 at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. There is also talk of filming in Cleveland, New Orleans, and Morocco.

Blade Mcu Plot: What Will It Be About?

The plot of the reboot is unknown at this time, but we won’t be meeting Ali’s Blade for the first time. Ali appeared in the end credits of Chloe Zhao’s Eternals as a voice cameo, speaking with Kit Harrington’s soon-to-be Black Knight.

According to a Geek Vibe Nation leak, the film will take place over an 80-year period, beginning in 1900 and ending in 1980.ย

This timeline, however, has yet to be confirmed by Marvel or those working on the project.

There has also been an alleged plot leak from the /tv/ board on 4Chan, though this should obviously be taken with a grain of salt, stating that the film will end by following the life of Blade’s daughter, Brielle Brooks.ย

The plot is also said to begin in the 1920s with Blade’s pregnant mother, who receives treatment from a vampire who tries to prey on her. None of this has been confirmed.

Blade Release Date

We can expect to see familiar faces such as Blade’s trusted partner Abraham Whistler and his original mentor, Jamal Afari. Who Blade will face off against is also intriguing, as The Boys’ Anthony Starr is rumored to play Dracula.

The villain previously appeared in Wesley Snipes’ trilogy, so we’re not sure if Kevin Feige and his team will want to revisit old ground on the big screen.
